Job summary

Kent Autistic Trust in Kent is seeking a dedicated care worker to support autistic adults with daily living, personal care, and participation in community activities at our Faversham service.

You will encourage independence, provide calm, consistent support, and help individuals enjoy hobbies while working on a 3-week rolling rota that includes weekends and sleep-in duties. This is a permanent, full-time role with training and benefits.

Qualifications

• Empathy and patience are essential.
• Experience supporting autistic adults is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals with daily living, personal care and medication.
• Encourage independence, choice and confidence.
• Help people enjoy hobbies, activities and community outings.
• Assist with cooking, cleaning and maintaining a comfortable home.
• Provide calm, consistent support tailored to individual needs.
• Work a 3-week rolling rota including weekends and sleep-ins.
