We are seeking an experienced support worker to join our team at George Williams House, a self-contained accommodation unit for 15 households. The role is vital in helping vulnerable clients achieve positive outcomes. As a Support Worker, you will work closely with young people and families, developing and delivering high-quality support programs that promote clients’ choice and control. Many of our young people and families are referred due to experiencing homelessness.
Our goal is to support young people and families by providing stable accommodation and helping them develop their capacity, self-esteem, and life skills for independent living.
We are an Ofsted Registered Service, adhering to ‘The Supported Accommodation (England) Regulations,’ which set national standards and inspection arrangements for supported accommodation providers for looked after children and care leavers aged 16 and 17. These standards cover Support, Protection, Leadership & Management, and Accommodation.
