Keys Group is hiring two Support Workers for Fairford Supported Living in Friern Barnet, London. The roles involve day-to-day support, encouraging independence and helping residents with daily living tasks. DBS is paid by the employer, and full induction and ongoing training are provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day support to residents in Fairford Supported Living.
• Encourage independence and participation in activities.

• Assist with budgeting, shopping and daily living tasks.
• Promote safety, wellbeing and engagement through activities and routines.

JOB ROLE:X2 Support Worker

LOCATION : Friern Barnet (N11)

HOURS: 35 - 40 hours per week

REQUIREMENTS:

We require x2 Support workers who are able to work day & night shifts aswell as weekends.

Our specialist Supported Living service in Fairford SL, provides support for people with Learning Disabilities, Autism, Mental Health needs and Acquired Brain Injuries. We understand the importance of providing person-centred support that enables independence and meets each individual's needs.

As a Support Worker, you will be involved in the day-to-day support and routine of the people within the service including:

• Day-to-day support and routine of the people we support.
• Prompting independence whilst helping them live a fulfilling life.
• Supporting & encouraging the development of personal skills through hobbies and interests.
• Maintaining and helping with health care needs, including accompanying the people we support to routine appointments or administrating medication.
• Teaching life skills such as budgeting, paying bills & shopping.
• Assisting with personal care as required.
• Assisting with domestic tasks including cleaning & cooking.
• Providing guidance & encouragement through physical & emotional support.

Experience within the care sector is not needed as we offer full training, coaching and development
