Job summary

National Care Group is seeking a dedicated Support Worker in Basildon/Wickford to help adults with learning disabilities and complex needs live as independently as possible. You will build trusting relationships and support daily activities in home and community settings.

This role offers full-time hours, a driver license is required, and paid training with opportunities to gain recognised qualifications. You will work early/late shifts, including sleep-ins and weekends as needed, within a

Qualifications

• Be available for a minimum of two shifts per week.
• Full UK driver’s licence needed.
• Support individuals with learning disabilities and complex needs.

Responsibilities

• You will build positive relationships with people by listening, discussing, and then planning goals and ambitions together.
• You will help to plan their daily tasks and assist with practical activities such as cooking, cleaning and running errands.
• You will assist with personal care, which may include support with eating and administering medication.
• You will help to plan and participate in any exciting days out they wish to enjoy.
• You will make a positive impact on someone's life by supporting them to become more independent wherever possible.
