Job summary

Radis Community Care is seeking a compassionate Support Worker to join our Cardiff-based team at Llys Y Goetre. Full and part-time roles available, with enhanced NVQ rate pay and consistent daily support from the same staff members where possible.

You will help people live independently at home and in their community, providing personal care, assistance with medications, meal prep and social activities. Join us to make a positive difference in people’s lives.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering personal care tasks.
• Ability to administer medications under supervision where required.
• Ability to prepare simple meals and support daily living activities.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care with dignity and respect (washing, dressing, grooming).
• Assist with medication administration as directed by supervisors.
• Prepare meals and assist with meal planning and nutrition.
• Support clients to access local communities, shopping, activities and social events.
• Assist with day-to-day household tasks and routines to enable independent living.

The Role of a Support Worker

As a Support Worker you will be working with people to live independently within their own home and local community by

• Supporting with personal care tasks including washing, dressing etc.
• Supporting with medication administration
• Supporting with meal preparation
• Supporting with accessing the local community e.g., Shopping, activities, trips
• Supporting with day-to-day household duties
• Supporting with any other day routines the people we support have
