As a Support Worker in New Milton, you will provide person-centred care to adults with learning disabilities, helping with daily living, meals, personal care and community activities, while promoting dignity, choice and

Qualifications

• Caring, patient and person-centred approach to supporting adults with learning disabilities.
• Good communication skills and ability to build positive relationships.
• Commitment to independence, dignity, choice and wellbeing.
• Ability to work as part of a team and follow support plans and procedures.
• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care desirable; full training provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centred care to adults with learning disabilities, helping them live as independently as possible.
• Assist with personal care, daily living activities, meals, appointments and community activities.
• Get to know individuals, encourage choices and help develop skills and independence.
• Work with colleagues and other professionals to ensure safe, high-quality support.
