Job summary

Southern Housing is seeking a compassionate Support Worker to provide personalised care across our housing schemes and community services on the Isle of Wight. You will follow individual care plans to help residents live as independently as possible, while upholding dignity, choice and inclusion.

Qualifications

• 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) including Maths and English
• Willingness to work towards an NVQ Level 2 in Care (or equivalent)
• No previous experience is required - full training and support will be provided.
• Successful candidates will be subject to an Enhanced DBS check

Responsibilities

• Deliver care and support across supported housing schemes, extra care services and in the local community
• Provide care in line with individual care plans to promote independence, dignity and inclusion
• Work as part of a team in a CQC-regulated environment and maintain accurate records
