Job summary

Royal Mencap Society in Bourne is seeking Support Workers to help people with learning disabilities in our supported living services and in their own homes. You will provide person-centred support with daily tasks and promote independence.

Shift patterns include 7:30am–10pm with weekend rota and sleep-in shifts; full training provided; enhanced DBS check and references required. Prior care experience is helpful but not essential, as you will be supported to succeed.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in care is beneficial but not essential.
• Full training and support provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centred support with daily activities (cooking, cleaning, laundry, opening post).
• Support with appointments, medications, personal care, and manual handling where required.
• Support individuals in line with positive behavioural support plans, promoting choice, dignity and independence.
