Job summary

Mears Group is seeking Support Workers for Macduff and surrounding areas. You will help people live independently by providing daily task support, personal care and social activities at home and in the community.

Due to the rural location, a full UK driving licence is preferred. Contract types include zero hours or guaranteed hours; driving and flexibility are valued to meet individual needs.

Qualifications

• Deliver person-centred care that promotes independence and wellbeing.
• Assist with personal care and medication administration.
• Communicate effectively with service users and families.

Responsibilities

• Help with daily tasks, personal care and social activities at home and in the community.
• Support with cooking, cleaning, and shopping to maintain independence.
• Accompany service users to appointments and community activities.
• Maintain accurate records and follow care plans and safeguarding procedures.
