Job summary

Creative Support is seeking a dedicated Support Worker for our Intake, Sheffield service supporting adults with learning disabilities. You will help people live fulfilling lives, identify local community activities, and support hobbies like football and arts & crafts.

The role involves personal care, medication support, budgeting and daily living tasks, with flexibility across evenings, weekends, nights and public holidays on a rotatable schedule.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting adults with learning disabilities.
• Ability to work flexibly on a rota including evenings and weekends.
• Commitment to enabling people to live fulfilling lives.

Responsibilities

• Support people to develop skills in budgeting, meal planning, shopping and laundry.
• Provide personal care and medication support.
• Give practical and emotional support with day-to-day living.
• Assist with moving and handling where needed.
