Job summary

Creative Support in Horsforth, Leeds is hiring a Senior Support Worker to join our friendly team within our supported living and day services. You will provide person-centred care to tenants with learning disabilities, mental health and complex needs, helping them take part in everyday life and activities.

You will lead a team of Support Workers, ensure consistent communication, and work within a positive behaviour support framework.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting adults with learning disabilities is essential.
• Must have (or be willing to work towards) NVQ Diploma in Health and Social Care level 2 or 3.
• Full-time (37.5 hours) or part-time hours, including evenings, weekends and bank holidays.
• Eligible to work in the UK; sponsorship not provided.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of Support Workers to deliver individualised support.
• Plan with the person’s wider support network to help tenants achieve their wishes.
• Provide person-centred care and support; assist with personal care and domestic tasks.
• Support participation in activities and community engagement.
