Job summary

Key Care & Support is seeking an experienced Support Worker to join Sammy's family home in Altrincham. You will provide person-centred support to a 26-year-old man with learning difficulties and multiple medical needs, working flexibly across days and nights to maintain high quality of life.

You should have at least 2 years of relevant experience, a caring approach, and the ability to work as part of a team with families and professionals. Real living wage and ongoing training are provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years experience supporting adults with enhanced needs.
• Role requires flexibility to cover days and nights.
• Must be positive, person-centred and committed to high standards of care and support.

Responsibilities

• Support Sammy in the family home in Altrincham to enable him to live a meaningful, active life.
• Lead a staff team to deliver high quality, person-centred support.
• Ensure support is proactive, respectful and focused on quality of life; respond to behaviours to reduce stress.
