Job summary

Connected Health Group is seeking a dedicated Support Worker in Carrickfergus to help adults with learning disabilities and complex needs live independently and with dignity. You will follow individual care plans, assist with daily living tasks and ensure safety and wellbeing in a homecare setting.

This on-site role offers competitive pay at £14.50 per hour, plus ongoing training, and benefits like free Access NI, a cycle to work scheme, and wellbeing support.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months' experience in Supported Living Services.
• Based in Northern Ireland.
• Experience in caring for adults with learning disabilities and complex needs is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support service users with daily living tasks in line with individual care plans.
• Follow Connected Living policies and procedures at all times.
• Adhere to care plans and risk assessments tailored to each service user.
• Complete health and safety checks per organisational policies.
• Provide safe administration and ordering of medication.
• Deliver accurate, high-quality handovers to incoming staff.
• Collaborate with colleagues and the MDT to support wellbeing.
• Build professional relationships with service users and professionals.
