You will join a warm, inclusive team. The role requires flexibility for evenings, weekends, and varying shifts, with DBS/background checks and accessibility considerations in place.

Qualifications

• Patience and respect for people’s choices.
• Strong communication to build trusting relationships.
• Willingness to learn and work towards a Health and Social Care qualification.
• Driving a manual vehicle required.

Responsibilities

• Empower independence, choice and dignity for people.
• Encourage participation in social, leisure, work and community activities.
• Promote health, safety and wellbeing while respecting decisions.
• Support attendance at health appointments and medication management.
• Help people gain new skills and self-belief through step-by-step independence.
• Provide personal support and assistance with daily living as needed.
• Keep accurate records and follow safeguarding practices.
