Job summary

Cartrefi Cymru Co-operative is seeking a dedicated Support Worker in Llandrindod Wells to help individuals with learning disabilities live fuller, more independent lives within their community. You’ll contribute from day one, shaping a new service and building trusted relationships while providing person-centred support.

The role offers full or part-time hours with day, evening, weekend, and sleep-in shifts.

Qualifications

• Patience and empathy to support individuals with learning disabilities.
• Ability to support intimate personal care with respect and dignity.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals in making daily choices and setting goals.
• Empower people to follow through on decisions and take part in activities.
• Provide practical help with tasks such as paying bills and maintaining homes.
• Assist with arranging activities and transport as needed.
• Foster wellbeing and build meaningful relationships in the local community.
