The role includes full-time and part-time hours, weekends and sleep-ins. Training is provided, and there are benefits including leave, pension and discount schemes.

Qualifications

• No experience required; full training provided.
• Patience and empathy are essential.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills are important.
• Able to speak on behalf of others to professionals.
• Good written skills and the ability to record events with empathy.
• Affiliation of a full driving licence is essential.
• Own car and willingness to use it for transport with insurance 55p per mile.

Responsibilities

• Work in a supported living service with adults with varying needs.
• Help individuals make their own choices and set personal goals.
• Empower people to follow through on decisions and take part in activities to build confidence.
• Provide practical support such as paying bills, maintaining homes, and staying connected with friends and family.
• Strive to make everyday moments meaningful and promote wellbeing.
