Job summary

CareTech is recruiting Support Workers to join our Bradford service, supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism, and mental health needs. The role offers rota-based hours across evenings, weekends, bank holidays, and sleep-ins, with a focus on delivering person-centred care and empowering independence.

We welcome candidates new to care or with experience, and provide ongoing training, DBS paid for by CareTech, and opportunities for career progression within our values-driven

Qualifications

• Experience in a care environment with challenging behaviour preferred.
• Willingness to work towards a health and social qualification.
• Ability to work unsociable hours on a rota basis.
• Enhanced DBS check required (paid for by CareTech)

Responsibilities

• Deliver person-centred support in line with individual support plans.
• Assist with daily living skills and personal care where required.
• Promote independence, dignity, and wellbeing.
• Support activities, appointments, and community access.
• Maintain accurate records and work effectively as part of a team.
• Work a rota including evenings, weekends, bank holidays, and sleep-ins.
