Job summary

The Avenues Trust Group in Sevenoaks is seeking caring and enthusiastic Support Workers to join our residential team, supporting adults with learning disabilities, physical disabilities and other needs to live as independently as possible. You will provide personalised, person-centred support, help with daily activities, attend appointments and drive service vehicles to access the local community.

A full UK driving licence is essential; we provide comprehensive training to support your long-term

Responsibilities

Support people to live as independently as possible while promoting choice, dignity and respect
Encourage participation in activities and community life
Help build and maintain relationships with family, friends and local community
Assist with cooking, shopping, budgeting and maintaining a clean, comfortable home
Provide respectful, person-centred personal care tailored to individual needs
Support people with health appointments, daily routines and emotional wellbeing
Drive service vehicles to enable access to appointments and activities
Celebrate achievements and create meaningful moments daily
