Job summary

Avenues in Sevenoaks is looking for caring and enthusiastic Support Workers to join our friendly team, supporting adults with learning and physical disabilities within a residential service. A full UK driving licence is essential for this role, and you’ll be happy driving our service vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Support people to live as independently as possible while promoting choice, dignity and respect
• Encourage participation in hobbies, activities and community life
• Help people build and maintain relationships with family, friends and their local community
• Assist with cooking, shopping, budgeting and maintaining a clean, comfortable home
• Provide respectful, person-centred personal care tailored to individual needs
• Support people with health appointments, daily routines and emotional wellbeing
• Drive the service vehicles to enable people to access appointments and activities
• Celebrate achievements and help create meaningful moments every day

Job description

£25,845 per annum (pro rata) Full-time - 39 hours per week

A full UK driving licence is essential for this role, and you'll need to be happy driving our service vehicles.

About the Role

We're looking for caring and enthusiastic Support Workers to join our friendly team in Sevenoaks, supporting adults with learning disabilities, physical disabilities, epilepsy, communication needs and those receiving end-of-life care within a residential service.

Conveniently located just a five-minute walk from Sevenoaks railway station, the service provides personalised, person-centred support to help people live as independently as possible while achieving their goals and enjoying meaningful lives.

As part of the role, you'll support people to access appointments, activities and the local community, so you'll need a full UK driving licence and be comfortable driving our service vehicles.
