Cartrefi Cymru Co-operative seeks a committed Support Worker in Nefyn, Gwynedd. A full-time or part-time rota includes weekends and sleep-ins, with travel expenses paid and 55p per mile.

Qualifications

• Patience and empathy in supporting individuals
• Respectful personal care with dignity
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to liaise with professionals on behalf of service users
• Good written skills and empathetic record-keeping
• Full driving licence – essential
• Own car for transporting individuals with business insurance
• Welsh language skills preferred to meet linguistic needs

Responsibilities

• Support individuals in making choices and setting personal goals
• Help with everyday decisions (what to wear, eat, where to live) and managing finances
• Provide practical support for paying bills, maintaining homes, and staying connected with others
• Promote well-being and meaningful daily moments through person-centred support
• Assist with arranging transport to appointments and activities
