Job summary

Westcroft is seeking a Female Support Worker in Tring, Hertfordshire. The role involves delivering personalised support, promoting independence in daily living activities, assisting with medication and personal care, and contributing to risk assessments.

The service operates on a rota with early, late and sleep-in shifts. The successful candidate will hold a care certificate (or be willing to obtain one), have a full UK driving licence, and be prepared for weekend and bank holiday work.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle required.
• Holds a care certificate or willingness to undertake a care qualification.
• At least one sleep-in per week (paid at a flat rate of £52.78).
• Weekend and bank holiday working required.

Responsibilities

• Create and follow personalised support plans.
• Promote daily living skills such as cooking, cleaning and budgeting.
• Support with medication and provide personal care with dignity.
• Contribute to risk assessments and management plans.
• Help residents achieve personal goals.
