Job summary

As a Support Worker, you’ll be at one of our supported services, delivering practical help with money, benefits, and moving to settled homes, while building confidence and resilience in customers we support.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with vulnerable people.
• Experience of delivering structured support and risk management.
• Be a team player with a caring and empathetic nature, able to work as part of a team.
• Understanding of supporting vulnerable people, including lived experience of homelessness or addiction.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to customers at one of Riverside's supported services, connecting them with employability coaches and other agencies.
• Help customers manage money and sign up for benefits or move to more permanent accommodation.
• Boost confidence and support customers on their journey to rebuild their lives.
• Maintain records and handle admin tasks associated with support work.
• Be resilient, empathetic and able to leave work at work.
