Job summary

HRM Homecare Services is seeking compassionate and dedicated Support Workers to join our team in East Ayrshire. The role involves providing essential care to individuals in their own homes, promoting independence, dignity, and quality of life.

You will work with healthcare professionals and families, complete accurate records, and participate in full training. Flexible hours include some weekends and evenings; PVG check will be required.

Qualifications

• Previous care experience desirable but not essential; full training provided.
• Compassionate, patient, respectful attitude toward clients.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to undertake PVG check.

• Support clients to engage in meaningful activities and community involvement
• Maintain accurate records and report any changes in clients' needs or well-being
• Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals and family members to ensure coordinated care delivery
• Promote a safe and comfortable environment for clients

Essential Requirements

• Previous experience in a support or care role is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided
• Compassionate, patient, and respectful attitude towards clients
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexible approach to working hours, including availability for some weekends and evenings
• Willingness to undertake training and developmentDisclosure Scotland (PVG) Check will be required

Desirable
