Job summary

Dimensions Ltd in Worcester (WR5) is recruiting Support Workers for full-time and part-time shifts to assist four men with learning disabilities and mobility needs. You’ll provide personal care, use hoists, support meals and medication, and enable activities and outings such as swimming and theatre visits.

Open Day dates and a welcoming team await. A full UK manual driving licence is essential; pay is £13.15 per hour plus £50 per sleep-in shift, with overtime uplift and a comprehensive benefits

Qualifications

• Experience isn’t essential — training and support provided.
• Support people with personal care, mobility and daily living needs.
• Use hoists and specialist equipment for wheelchair users.
• Administering medication and supporting activities and appointments.
• Build meaningful relationships and understand individual communication styles.

Responsibilities

• Support four men with learning disabilities, autism and cerebral palsy in daily living.
• Assist personal care, mobility and health needs.
• Use hoists and adapt to individual equipment requirements.
• Encourage participation in activities and outings, including swimming and hydrotherapy.
• Prepare meals and accompany people to appointments and events.
