Job summary
Dimensions is seeking a dedicated Support Worker in Norton Subcourse to help two gentlemen live active, independent lives. You'll provide personal care, assist with medications, prepare meals, and enable engagement in home and community activities.
Full UK manual driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential, as you may travel to support people in the community. The role offers on-site work, rotating shifts, and training to grow with the team.
Qualifications
- Full UK manual driving licence is essential.
- Own vehicle to travel to work.
- Confident in cooking meals from fresh ingredients.
- Ability to provide personal care and medication support.
- Comfortable supporting a person in a wheelchair and in the community.
- Able to work independently during lone shifts and as part of a team.
- Enjoy helping people stay active in the community.
- Excellent communication with a patient, person-centred approach.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care and medication support to two gentlemen.
- Prepare meals and support healthy living.
- Enable community activities and outings.
- Support with daily living tasks and promote independence.
- Travel to support people in the community as required.
- Adapt to two-week rolling rota and on-site shifts.
