Job summary

Cygnet is hiring a Support Worker (Days) in West Yorkshire to deliver compassionate care at Gotts Park - Yorkshire Supported Living Leeds. The role is 42 hours weekly, with 12-hour day shifts and an alternating weekend pattern in a two-week rota.

You will support individuals with complex mental health needs, learning disabilities, autism and related behaviours within a private tenancy framework. The job includes ongoing development through apprenticeships, flexible hours including overtime, and

Qualifications

• We are looking for a confident Care & Support Worker with a passion for delivering outstanding healthcare.
• Full-time role: 42 hours per week with 12-hour shifts and alternate weekends on a two-week rolling rota.
• Experience in supported living environments and working with individuals with complex needs is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Offer enhanced care with a flexible learning approach for all the people in our care.
• Provide guidance & encouragement through physical & emotional support.
• Learn about individuals’ specific needs & provide help in the most appropriate way.
• Assist with and report on medical & welfare needs.
• Safeguard.
• Maintain a safe, clean environment for all.
• Support service users to access the community, attending work, college, hobbies & activities.
• Support service users to grow, develop & learn through engaging them in tasks such as cooking & cleaning.
