Job summary

Cygnet Care Services is seeking a confident Care & Support Worker to deliver outstanding healthcare at Gotts Park – Yorkshire Supported Living in Leeds. You will work full time (42 hours per week) with 12-hour shifts, alternating weekends on a two-week rolling rota, providing compassionate, client-centered support to people with mental health needs and learning disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Offer enhanced care with a flexible learning approach for all the people in our care.
• Provide guidance & encouragement through physical & emotional support.
• Learn about individuals’ specific needs & provide help in the most appropriate way.
• Assist with and report on medical & welfare needs.
• Safeguard.
• Maintain a safe, clean environment for all.
• Supporting service users to access the community, to attend things like work, college, hobbies & activities, days out & holidays.
• Supporting the service users to grow, develop & learn through engaging them in tasks such as cooking & cleaning.
