Job summary

Real Life Options in Inverurie is looking for a dedicated Support Worker for our Day Centre. You will help individuals with various needs to lead more independent lives, assist with personal care when required, and work with the public, families and professionals to support community integration.

The role emphasizes communication, compassion and flexibility, with full training provided and a supportive team environment. Hours are 30 per week across 4 days, with occasional relief cover.

Qualifications

• PVG Membership (Adult): Enhanced PVG check required.
• Shadow shifts completed before starting, tailored to experience.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals in building new skills and independence.
• Provide personal care where required (full training provided).
• Interact with members of the public, families and professionals.
• Support integration into the local community and social activities.
• Promote independence and assist in achieving personal goals.
• General housekeeping duties.
