Job summary

Salutem Care & Education is seeking experienced support workers to join Orchard House, a learning disability home for children with complex needs. The role focuses on safeguarding, providing high-quality personal care, and promoting independence within a safe environment.

You will participate in extensive induction and ongoing training, with flexible working hours and opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications

• Safeguarding knowledge and training are required.
• Induction training and ongoing development are provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to individual young people with complex health, physical and learning needs within the children’s home.
• Attend day-to-day needs of young people and help them access activities, evenings and weekends.
• Maintain accurate records and report to management and external agencies.
• Promote health, wellbeing and independence for the young people.
• Attend handover and key worker meetings; collaborate with colleagues and professionals.
