Job summary

Liaise is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to join our team and help provide personal, compassionate care to the people we support in London. We offer full training and ongoing support, with a focus on creating a happy, purposeful life for those we serve.

Role involves assisting with daily tasks, accompanying social and family visits, and keeping clear records. Male canditates requested due to person we support requirements; DBS check will be completed as part of our safeguarding process.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of care is beneficial.
• Strong communication skills.
• Takes pride in working with vulnerable people and takes safeguarding responsibilities seriously.
• Effective decision making and judgement.
• Strong planning and organisation skills.
• Achieves all Health & Safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist people by helping with daily tasks using the training provided.
• Support in day-to-day life, social visits, family visits and days out to local attractions.
• Keep paperwork up to date for each person living in the home.
• Work positively with colleagues, families and external organisations to support residents.
