Job summary

Liaise is seeking caring individuals to join our team as Support Worker or Care Assistant. Full training and support will be provided to help every person we support lead a happy, purposeful life.

Male candidates are requested due to the needs of the person we support. We offer market leading pay, enhanced DBS, pension, and opportunities to develop within a supportive team.

Responsibilities

• Assist those we support with daily tasks using provided training.
• Provide day-to-day support including social visits, family visits, and outings to local attractions.
• Keep paperwork up to date and accurately document each person’s information.
• Collaborate with colleagues, families and external organisations to support individuals in the home.

We are looking for caring people to join our fabulous team as a Support Worker or a Care Assistant full training and support will be given.

Role Requirements:

Male candidates requested due to person we support requirements.

What you will be doing:

• Using the training provided, assist those who we support by helping with daily tasks
• Be there to support in day to day life; such as social visits, family visits and also days out to some great, local attractions
• Keeping paperwork up to date to ensure everything is captured for each person who lives in the home
• Working positively with colleagues, families and external organisations to assist in supporting those who live in the home.

What we would like you to have to be able to do it:

• A basic understanding of care is beneficial
• Strong communication skills
• Takes pride in working with vulnerable people and takes safeguarding responsibilities seriously
• Effective decision making and judgement
• Strong planning and organisation skills
• Achieves all Health & Safety standards
