Job summary

Liaise is seeking caring Support Workers to help people live happy and purposeful lives. We offer full training and support, with day and night 12-hour shifts and a welcoming team.

You will assist with daily tasks, accompany residents on social visits and outings, and ensure accurate documentation. You will work with families and external organisations to support those living in the home, upholding safeguarding and high safety standards.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of care is beneficial.
• Strong communication skills.
• Takes pride in working with vulnerable people and safeguarding responsibilities.
• Effective decision making and judgement.
• Strong planning and organisation skills.
• Achieves all Health & Safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist those we support with daily tasks using the training provided.
• Provide day-to-day support including social visits and outings to local attractions.
• Maintain up-to-date paperwork for each person living in the home.
• Collaborate with colleagues, families and external organisations to support residents.

We are looking for caring people to join our fabulous team as a Support Worker or a Care Assistant full training and support will be given.

Role Requirements:

Looking for days and nights, 12 hour shifts.

What you will be doing:

• Using the training provided, assist those who we support by helping with daily tasks
• Be there to support in day to day life; such as social visits, family visits and also days out to some great, local attractions
• Keeping paperwork up to date to ensure everything is captured for each person who lives in the home
• Working positively with colleagues, families and external organisations to assist in supporting those who live in the home.
