Job summary

Nurse Seekers is recruiting for Support Workers in West Mersea to join a well-established residential care service. You will support adults with learning disabilities and autism, helping them maintain independence and engage with the local community.

The role offers varied shift patterns with a baseline of 35 hours per week and a pay rate of £12.80 per hour, DOE. Both full-time and part-time positions are available, with training and ongoing support provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in care or support work is desirable.
• A driver with either a full UK driving licence or an automatic-only licence.
• Willingness to work varied shift patterns and a minimum of 35 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centred care and support based on individuals’ needs and choices.
• Assist with daily routines and personal care.
• Help individuals develop life skills and access local community activities.
• Build positive relationships and maintain appropriate records and documentation.
• Promote dignity, independence and effective communication within a supportive team.
