Job summary

National Care Group seeks a dedicated Support Worker for Nexus Support Limited in Hockley and surrounding areas. The role offers a £13.01/hour rate (about £27,060.80/year for a 40-hour week) plus a £500 joining bonus. A full UK driving licence is required to meet the role's mobility needs.

You will support people with learning disabilities, autism and complex needs to live meaningful lives in community settings and at home. Shifts include earlies, lates, sleep-ins and weekends.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence is required.
• Willingness to support people with learning disabilities and complex needs.

Responsibilities

• Build positive relationships with people by listening, discussing, and planning goals and ambitions together.
• Help plan daily tasks and assist with practical activities such as cooking, cleaning and running errands.
• Assist with personal care, which may include support with eating and administering medication.
• Help to plan and participate in days out as wished.
• Support individuals to become more independent where possible.
