Support Worker - Community
We define a support worker as someone who helps individuals live a fulfilled and independent life. Witnessing our clients achieve milestones, big or small, confirms we're providing the best care possible.
We are recruiting a full-time driver for our community service in Christchurch. You will support two male residents in their late 30s to 40s with tasks such as transporting them to the farm day centre, grocery shopping, appointments, and gardening.
Additionally, at our independent living property in Southbourne, where residents have their own tenancies, support includes assistance with job applications, social activities, and community integration.
£11.10/hour, increasing to £11.50 after successful probation.
Requirements:
Drivers must have access to their own vehicle; non-drivers cannot be accommodated.
We offer a 24/7 service with various full and part-time hours, ideally within 8am-4pm or 4pm-10pm. Sleep-in shifts are available once a week.
