Kent County Council in Dartford is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to join our Community Day Services team in West Kent, full-time. You will help adults with learning and physical disabilities develop life skills, participate in activities and local community journeys.

Join a supportive team with training, induction, and opportunities to gain Health and Social Care qualifications while making a real difference in people’s lives.

Competenze

• You must be a UK resident with the appropriate right to work documentation.
• This role is subject to holding a Full UK Driving Licence.

Mansioni

• Leading and supporting staff on the floor giving guidance where needed ensuring the day runs smoothly.
• Work alongside the Team coordinator to challenge and improve daily practice.
• Deputising in the absence of the Team coordinator.
• Supporting individuals to achieve personal goals and aspirations
• Promoting independence through tailored care plans
• Encouraging social inclusion and community participation
• Assisting with some intimate personal care and mobility needs, including manual handling.
• Collaborating with colleagues across East & West Kent services as needed.
• If you are able to drive our service vehicles, this would be great though not essential.
