Kent County Council in Dover is recruiting an Enablement Support Worker to join the KEaH Dover Enablement Team. Based at Dover Civic Centre, you will travel across Dover, Sandwich, Aylesham, Ash, Capel-Le-Ferne, Deal and surrounding areas to provide planned daily living support and enable individuals to achieve independence.
The role is customer-facing within a collaborative team including Social Workers and Occupational Therapists.

With an Office based at Dover Civic Centre, Dover covering Dover, Sandwich, Aylesham, Ash, Capel-Le-Ferne, Deal and surrounding areas. The Kent Enablement at Home service is one of the leaders in its field. Enablement is all about taking an individual on a journey to independence or reducing the long-term care needs. This would be though planned support with aspects of daily living including personal care, whilst working for and alongside a structured team to include the Enablement Locality Organiser, Enablement Supervisors, Social Workers, Occupational Therapist and various multi agency partners in KCC and health., This post is considered by KCC to be a customer-facing position. The Council therefore has a statutory duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) to ensure that post holders have a command of spoken English/Welsh sufficient for the effective performance of the job requirements.
