Job summary

Transforming Support in Peterborough is hiring a Support Worker to help an adult with complex needs live with greater independence. This full-time, permanent role offers 38.5 hours per week and 12-hour shifts from 9.00am to 9.00pm and 9.00pm to 9.00am, with a rolling two-week rota.

Starting salary of £14 per hour (£28,028 per year) with a £1,000 discretionary annual bonus, 28 days of leave and a fully funded enhanced DBS check.

Qualifications

• At least six months' experience in a care or support setting.
• Commitment to helping another person live a fulfilling and independent life.
• You must already have the right to work in the UK (visa sponsorship not available).

Responsibilities

• Provide respectful, person centred support in the individual's home.
• Help develop daily living skills and build confidence.
• Support informed choices about routines and lifestyle.
• Assist with tenancy, household responsibilities and finances.
• Support health needs, appointments and medications per procedures.
• Encourage community involvement and personal interests.
• Contribute to support plans, reviews and risk management.
• Maintain clear, accurate records and follow safeguarding policies.
