Transforming Support Sussex is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to help adults with learning disabilities and complex needs live more independently at Harvest Rise, Littlehampton. You will build trusted relationships and support daily living, promoting dignity and choice.

The role is full-time, permanent with a rolling two-week rota, and requires at least six months’ care or support experience. A discretionary £1,000 annual bonus and generous leave are part of the package.

Qualifications

• Six months’ care or support experience is required.
• Demonstrated ability to work with adults with learning disabilities or complex needs.

Responsabilités

• Provide person-centred support reflecting each individual's needs, preferences and goals.
• Assist with daily living and promote independence.
• Support access to local community, appointments and social activities.
• Assist with health needs and medications per procedures.
• Maintain tenancy, finances and household responsibilities as required.
• Build positive relationships with individuals, families and professionals.
• Encourage confidence, independence and safe risk-taking.
• Maintain accurate support records and documentation.
• Follow safeguarding, health and safety, and risk management procedures.
