A caregiving organization is looking for a Support Worker to assist children and young people with various Mental Health issues across the North West of England and North Wales. Candidates must have experience in a similar role, a Child and Adult DBS check, and the ability to manage challenging behaviors. Shifts vary from long days to shorter day shifts, providing flexible work hours.

Qualifications

  • Child and Adult DBS on the update service required.
  • Previous experience in a similar role.
  • References covering the last 3 years.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure children and young people's care and safety.
  • Provide high standard help and support.
  • Assist clients in food purchasing and choices.

Skills

Overview

Role: Support Worker

Location: Across the North West of England and North Wales

Pay: £15 - £20ph

Hours
  • Long days (8am - 11pm) and sleep in
  • Shorter day shifts with varied times
  • 12 hour shifts 8am - 8pm or 8pm - 8am
About the role

These roles will be working with children and young people with a range of Mental Health issues. You will be required to have experience working in a similar role. These positions are on a 2 to 1 basis.

Responsibilities
  • You will be required to ensure that children and young people are provided with the highest quality of care possible and to assist them reaching their fullest potential.
  • To ensure children's safety and well-being is appropriately protected at all times
  • To provide high standard help, care and support
  • To enable clients / families or children and young people (as appropriate) to enjoy a range of food and support them to buy their food from various places including markets/ super markets or specialist shops
