Job summary
Autism Plus Limited in Leeds seeks empathetic Support Workers to provide person-centred support to individuals with autism, learning disabilities and mental health conditions within our Leeds Supported Living services. You will help individuals live as independently as possible, support health and well-being, and encourage participation in community activities.
The role is a 0 hour contract with shifts covering days, evenings, weekends and bank holidays.
Qualifications
- Empathetic and compassionate to provide person-centred support.
- Full, clean Driving Licence desirable.
- Willingness to work shifts including days, evenings, weekends and bank holidays.
Responsibilities
- Assist individuals in their home per Care Plans and assess needs.
- Provide practical support with household tasks.
- Offer emotional support by listening and communicating effectively.
- Adapt communication to each individual's needs and capabilities.
- Respect privacy and dignity at all times.
- Support and monitor health and healthcare needs, including medication where applicable.
