Job summary

Shaw healthcare (Group) Ltd is seeking a passionate Support Worker at The Martlets, an 80-bed nursing care home in East Preston, West Sussex. This role offers bank (zero hours) and 36hrs day contracts with 12-hour shifts including nights and days, and alternating weekends for contracted hours.

No experience is required, as values and behaviours matter most. You’ll provide person-centred care and support with daily living activities, while maintaining accurate care documentation and promoting

• Offering personal care, which includes assistance with bathing, dressing and hygiene
• Maintaining accurate documentation of care delivered, including fluid/food intake, activities and incidents

• Working collaboratively as part of a team and supporting your colleagues in day-to-day duties
• Maintaining a safe, happy, and caring environment

Job description

Salary: £13.80 per hour

Hours: Bank (zero hours) and 36hrs day contract available

Shift Times: 12hr shifts, nights (20:00-08:00) or days (07:45-20:15) - includes alternative weekends for contracted hours

The purpose-built service provides residential and nursing care for older people with physical frailty, and for older people living with dementia.

Job Responsibilities

As a Support Worker you will be responsible for promoting physical and emotional support to our lovely service users. This will include, but not limited to:
