Swanton Care & Community Ltd is seeking Support Workers to join our team in Wales West. You will provide practical and emotional support to empower people, promote wellbeing, and enable individuals to participate in activities and daily living.

About The Role

We are seeking Support Workers to join our team in Wales West.

• Position: Support Worker
• Location: Neath Port Talbot
• Hours: 39 hours per week
• Shifts: Days
• WE DONT OFFER SPONSORSHIP

Whilst fully embracing the company ethos support workers provide practical assistance and emotional support to empower people we support to achieve their goals and aspirations, respecting everyone’s individuality and enabling them to make appropriate choices to live the life they want to live. Support is required 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

• To provide support to empower the people we support to achieve their goals and aspirations, respecting everyone’s individuality and enabling them to make appropriate choices to live the life they wish, in line with their individual support plans.
• Promote the health, well-being, physical, emotional, cultural and spiritual beliefs of the people we support and ensure they are met in an inclusive way.
• To facilitate social, educational or work activities such as visiting family and friends, supported employment, walks, shopping and other recreational activities of their choice.
• General housekeeping duties that can include shopping, domestic duties as well as elements of personal care.
• As part of the role, you will need to be able to complete a range of records and documents.

About The Service

We provide person centred support to people 39 hours a day within a community based residential home
