Job summary

Priory Group in Belfast is seeking a compassionate Support Worker for a part-time 30-hour role covering 7pm to 11pm at Shaftesbury Mews in the Jordanstown area. The home provides residential and nursing support to adults on the autism spectrum or with a learning disability, and can support those with physical health needs and brain injury.

You will assist with personal care, encourage activities, maintain records, and work with a dedicated team to promote independence and wellbeing.

Job description

Shaftesbury Mews is looking to recruit a Support Worker to join the team.This is a part time, 30 hour role which will cover 7pm to 11pm. Shaftesbury Mews is located in the Jordanstown area of Belfast, off the main road on the Antrim coastline. It offers residential and nursing support to 18 people, who are on the autism spectrum, or have a learning disability. The home can also support those with physical health needs and a brain injury.

Our team are dedicated to improving the health and wellbeing of the people we support, helping them to achieve positive outcomes. We want to help each person we care for to have a healthy, happy and independent life, within a safe and welcoming home.

What you’ll be doing

You will be part of a compassionate team who are committed to our residents wellbeing. We take a personalised approach, using proven therapies to help people move forward with confidence and build a healthier, more fulfilling future. You will play a key part in their recovery, assisting qualified staff with the assessment and implementation of individual patient care plans, undertaking routine tasks and activities as directed or delegated to facilitate wellbeing, dignity and treatment of residents
