Job summary

Caremark Worcester & Malvern Hills is hiring a Care Assistant to support two ladies with learning disabilities in Pershore. You will work sleep night shifts, providing person-centred care in their home and building trusting relationships within a small team.

Role requires a valid driving licence and access to a vehicle. Full nurse-led training and ongoing team support are provided, with a strong focus on independence, dignity and consistent care.

Location: Pershore
Salary: £12.82 per hour with added mileage allowance
Hours: Full and Part Time Hours

Must hold a valid driving licence and have access to a vehicle for work purposes.

We have 2 lovely ladies to support living in Pershore in their own home. Clients have learning difficulties. (female carers only due to personal care) must be a driver.This is a great position for someone that would like to make a difference to one individual. Work within a small team to provide wrap around care for the clients.

Roles and Responsibilities

Caremark Worcester & Malvern Hills is looking for an experienced, compassionate Care Assistant to join a dedicated team supporting 2 lovely ladies with learning disabilities.

You will work closely with the clients in their own home, providing consistent, person-centred support and helping them live fulfilling and independent lives.

Your role would include helping customers with tasks such as:

• Days with sleep nights.
• Minimum availability of two shifts per week
• One-to-one support throughout each shift
• Clients based in Pershore

We are looking for someone who is:

• Experienced in care and confident supporting people with learning disabilities
• Bubbly, positive and friendly
• A self-starter who can work confidently and use their initiative
• Reliable, compassionate and professional
• A good communicator with a great sense of humour
• Committed to building trusting relationships and providing consistent care

Please note that visa sponsorship is not available for this role.

Your responsibilities

Depending on each client’s individual needs, your role may include:

• Personal care
• Medication administration, once trained and authorised
• Meal preparation
• Companionship and emotional support
• Supporting social activities and community visits
• Promoting independence, dignity and choice

Pay and benefits

• £12.82 per hour
• £25.64 per hour on public holidays
• 28 days' holiday per year, inclusive of Bank Holidays
• Full nurse-led training for each client's specific needs
