Job summary

Camphill Community Mourne is seeking a full‑time support worker to join Mourne Grange, a 24/7 supported living setting for adults with learning disabilities. You will be part of a small house team, delivering person‑centred care with dignity and respect.

The role involves a rota including mornings, evenings, nights and weekends, with a focus on maximising independence and community inclusion. Experience with learning disabilities is valued; reliability to commute is important.

• Good communication and ability to adapt to service user needs.
• Observational skills and ability to interpret non‑verbal cues.
• Punctual, organised, maintains confidentiality.
• Team player with the ability to use own initiative.
• Willingness to engage in training.
• Open to working with diverse individuals.

Responsibilities

• Support 58 adults in a 24/7 community.
• Based in one of 11 houses with up to 6 people each.
• Provide personal care as required.
• Contribute to social and cultural life of the Community.
• No hoisting required for this position.
