Support Worker / Carer Role at York SEN School

We are urgently seeking support workers / carers with experience working with children or vulnerable adults for full-time positions within a York SEN school during term time.

As part of an established team, the successful Teaching Assistant will support pupils with various levels of SEN, moving between different classes throughout the day. This is a long-term role starting as soon as possible and continuing until July 2024, with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.

Requirements

• An enhanced DBS registered on the update service
• Experience working within a school or care setting with children or vulnerable adults
• Moving and handling training and experience
• Ability to commit to a full-time role
