An exciting opportunity has arisen for enthusiastic and motivated Rehab Support Workers to join our expanding team at the Neuro Rehabilitation Centre at Goole. We are a specialist rehabilitation service that provides acute and post-acute in-patient rehabilitation for adults with acquired brain injury and other neurological conditions. Located within the Goole and District Hospital, and managed by the Northern Lincolnshire and Goole NHS Foundation Trust (NLaG), the 14-bedded specialist centre accepts people at an earlier stage of recovery than is typical of most rehabilitation settings.

Patients are supported by a Multidisciplinary Team, led by a Consultant in Rehabilitation Medicine. Other team members include Doctors, Registered Nurses, Psychologist, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Speech and Language Therapist, Therapy Assistants and Dietetics.

Main duties of the job

A Rehabilitation Support Worker is working as part of a ward/department team, responsible for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating patient care.

Duties and responsibilities of the post holder is to provide support to our patients appropriate to their individuals needs ensuring that each
patient leads a full and valued life, to contribute to providing an environment, whereby the Patient has maximum involvement in
their own activities and decision making, to enable Patients to participate in and contribute to the local community, The post holder will be required to work on a rotational basis including night duty and weekends.
