Job summary

Wonderstaff is seeking reliable Support Workers to provide patient-centered care in nursing and residential homes in the UK. The role requires a caring nature and at least 1 year of healthcare experience. You’ll work part-time or temporary shifts with flexible hours and a pay rate starting at £13 per hour, plus additional pay for self-drive travel.

Benefits include weekly pay, ongoing support, and a full induction. Transport is provided and annual leave is included in the rates.

Responsibilities

• Enable and assist service users to maintain autonomy and independence.

• Maintain records of daily activities.
• Assist with domestic tasks within the care home.

Job Description

Main Duties may include;

• To enable and assist service users to maintain as much autonomy and independence as possible.
• To assist service users with personal care needs and requirements.
• To assist service users with mobility problems and other physical disabilities.
• Serving food and assisting service users to take diet and fluids.
• Empathy and sensitivity to service users' needs and concerns.
• To maintain records of daily activities.
• To assist with all domestic tasks within the care home.
• Good health and fitness.
