We are seeking a female personal assistant to support our client in her home in the Wisbech area. The role involves working 25 hours per week, consisting of 7 shifts on a 3-week rota as follows:

1. Week 1: 2 x 11-hour shifts
2. Week 2: 2 x 11-hour shifts
3. Week 3: 3 x 11-hour shifts

You will be expected to work 1 weekend in every 3 and may need to cover additional shifts for sickness and holidays within the team.

Our client is a young lady who sustained a traumatic brain injury following a road traffic accident. She has limited use of her left arm, weakness in her left leg, and uses a wheelchair but can walk short distances.

She lives independently in a bungalow adapted to her needs. Your support will include personal care, moving and handling, medication administration, and assistance with daily activities. She enjoys activities such as going to the gym, horse-riding, cooking, and visiting her family. The role requires supporting her to enjoy life fully.

Applicants should have previous care experience and an understanding of brain injury. A full, clean UK driving licence is required as you will need to drive her vehicle.
